On March 19th, the casting of the lower cross beam under the main tower of the Huaihe Super Bridge on the Ninglu Expressway was completed.
The Huaihe Super Bridge is a key control project for the entire Ninglu Expressway renovation and expansion project. It is the tallest tower and has the largest span among asymmetric cable-stayed bridges with a single tower across the Huaihe River. The lower cross beam under the main bridge is a critical junction connecting the main tower and the main girder, with the steel main girder passing through it. Adopting an integral tower and girder system, the casting was carried out in two stages. Each part plays a crucial role in ensuring the stability and safety of the bridge.
