Recently, at the construction site of the Tarim River Super Major Bridge on the third contract section of the G3036 Xinjiang Aksu to Alar Expressway Project (hereinafter referred to as the Aksu-Alar Expressway Project), workers were busy carrying out pile foundation construction. With the successful lifting and placement of 8 segments of a 72-meter-long reinforced concrete cage into the borehole, the project has officially hit the “fast forward” button for full-section construction.

It is understood that the Aksu-Alar Expressway Project, as an important transportation artery connecting Aksu and Alar, is of great significance for promoting regional economic development and improving transportation efficiency. The Tarim River Super Major Bridge, a key node in the third contract section of the project, has a total length of 1.678 kilometers and requires the casting of 236 pile foundations.

The Aksu-Alar Expressway Project is divided into 3 sections for construction. The entire project is 129.828 kilometers long, starting from the Hongqipo Interchange where the G314 Aksu Bypass intersects with G3012, and ending at the intersection with G217 on the western side of Alar City. The entire route includes 5 interchange bridges, 1 hub interchange bridge, 21 separated interchange bridges, and 1 service area. Upon completion, it will further improve the national highway network and the integrated three-dimensional transportation system of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, accelerate the construction of outward opening channels, and create a fast direct passage between cities.
