Recently, the first T-beam for the Gunuhe Super Major Bridge of Contract APTJ-4 of the Anpan Expressway was successfully cast, marking the official commissioning of the project’s prefabricated T-beam plant and the entry into a new stage of superstructure construction for the bridge.

The Gunuhe Super Major Bridge is a control project of the Anpan Expressway, with a total length of 881.8 meters. The main bridge spans the Gunuhe River with a deck arch bridge design, adopting a calculated span of 520 meters and a cablestayed erection method without temporary supports. The maximum weight of a single segment for the main arch rib is approximately 283.3 tons. The main bridge deck is about 400 meters above the valley bottom. The bridge is located between steep gorges with rugged terrain on both banks, making construction extremely difficult.

The No. 2 T-beam prefabrication plant for Contract APTJ-4 of the Anpan Expressway is located on the roadbed section from K83+450 to K83+700, responsible for producing 113 pieces of 40-meter T-beams for the Gunuhe Super Major Bridge. The T-beams cast this time are the first to third T-beams for the right span of the Gunuhe Super Major Bridge, with a total length of 39.36 meters, width of 1.7 meters, height of 2.5 meters, and a designed concrete volume of 47.25 cubic meters.
