Recently, the pouring of the first steel pipe concrete segment for the control project of the Baimaqujang Extra-Large Bridge on the Zhengguan Expressway was successfully completed, marking another major milestone for the project. The bridge construction is now set to enter the deck installation and sprint stage.

The Baimaqujang Extra-Large Bridge has a total length of 657.8 meters, with a main span of 390 meters as a steel pipe concrete arch bridge with suspended deck. The steel pipes of the main arch ring are filled with low air content, high flowability, and shrinkage-compensating C60 self-compacting concrete. The total concrete volume for the entire bridge is 4,450.7 cubic meters, with a pumping vertical height of 90 meters and a horizontal distance of 195 meters. The maximum single steel pipe concrete volume is 524.28 cubic meters. The construction technique is highly demanding, and the process is relatively complex, making it one of the critical stages for the entire bridge construction.

To ensure the early completion and opening of the Baimaqujang Extra-Large Bridge, since the resumption of work and production after the Spring Festival, all construction units involved in the Zhengguan Expressway project have worked together in unity, carefully planned, and thoroughly strengthened process control, adhering to both quality and safety standards. Despite challenges such as weather conditions and material transportation and supply, they have successfully completed the first pouring task to a high standard and quality, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent deck installation and the annual goal of achieving full bridge connection by November.
